What’s the greatest value you bring to startups?
Bringing in and integrating resources from unexpected places – including up and down the supply chains and even from entirely different sectors. I also excel at taking startups into entirely new markets, often in collaboration with new strategic partners.
To you, what’s the most important trait of a good VC?
A good venture capitalist has to be truly passionate in what she invests in, and to be able to avoid fatal blind spots by leveraging broad experiences and information sources. This means relying not on industrial trend analyses, but on a wealth of industry contacts and ongoing conversations, as well as key backdoor references.
