Jason has over 30 years of venture experience, and specializes in digital displays, semiconductor, opto-electronics, and consumer tech. Prior to ITIC, Jason was with the TECO Investment Corporation and the Fortune Venture Capital Group. In the past years he has invested in and guided several companies to IPO.
What’s the greatest value you bring to startups?
Refining and focusing a company’s business model, to maximize their competitive edge against the field. I’m able to do this because I’ve been in the venture business for quite a while, and I’ve literally evaluated thousands of investment deals.
To you, what’s the most important trait of a good VC?
Having deep industry connections. And superior communication and people skills, because it always comes down to people.
